The Simplifier & Daisy platform enables modular safety stations installed directly on the machine or safety fence.
Operator controls such as E-stops, buttons and selector switches can be integrated directly on the Simplifier controller or Daisy module, while safety devices connect plug & play.
By placing safety control close to the application, wiring is reduced and installation, commissioning and troubleshooting become significantly easier.
Plug & Play Safety Devices
We supply a wide range of machine safety devices that connect directly to the system using plug & play connections.
Typical devices include:
• Non-contact safety sensors
• Process locking devices
• Safety light curtains
• Key-trapped safety systems
• Heavy-duty door locks and safety sensors
Safety devices from SSP, IDEM Safety, Datasensing and other leading safety manufacturers can easily be integrated into the system, allowing machine builders to select the components best suited for their application.
Devices can be mounted directly on the aluminum safety fence system or on the machine structure, creating integrated and easy-to-install safety solutions around the machine.
Daisy Safety Modules
Daisy modules can be integrated into the Simplifier system or used as stand-alone emergency stop modules with series connection and individual indication.
Daisy modules support flexible installation:
• Daisy E-Stop – series connection of E-stops with individual indication
• Daisy Link – connection box for connecting multiple safety devices
• Daisy Power – additional power distribution
• Daisy Relay – additional relay outputs
Together with Simplifier controllers, Daisy enables modular and easy-to-install safety systems.
Aluminum Safety Fence System
The system integrates seamlessly with our modular aluminium safety fence system, based on the well-known L, T and I bracket design, enabling complete machine safety installations.
Designed for fast and flexible installation, the fencing system is easy to assemble, modify or dismantle as machine layouts change.
Safety devices and Simplifier controllers with integrated E-stops, buttons and selector switches can be mounted directly on the fence, creating integrated safety stations around the machine. The Simplifier Gateway for PROFIsafe can also be mounted on the fencing system.
Intuitive Safety Programming
Safety functions are configured using Simplifier Manager with intuitive flow programming.
This simplifies configuration of safety logic and diagnostics, enabling faster commissioning and easier troubleshooting.
