Description
Used when there is a risk of personal injury. The door is kept locked until all hazardous motion has stopped. Typically, one to two safety locks are connected per Simplifier.
Functions:
- Emergency stop: immediately stops everything
- Request entry: initiates a safe stop sequence
- Lock: prevents opening until a safe stop has been achieved
- Reset: after the door has been locked and it has been verified that no one is in the protected area, restart is enabled
