Holdx RS is developed for small doors and hatches. Therefore, it is a small and compact design with a relatively high force of the electrical magnet, 600 N. The fixing of the anchor plate for Holdx RS is flexible to keep the anchor and magnet’s surface together. The guard locking has an option of a permanent magnet of 50 N, which can hold the door when the electrical magnet is off.

Holdx RS is developed for small doors and hatches. Therefore, it is a small and compact design with a relatively high force of the electrical magnet, 600 N. The fixing of the anchor plate for Holdx RS is flexible to keep the anchor and magnet’s surface together. The guard locking has an option of a permanent magnet of 50 N, which can hold the door when the electrical magnet is off.

Holdx RS and RL
The electrical magnet on Holdx has no resting magnetism when deenergized. This prevents magnetic material from getting stuck on the surface.

Holdx has an RFID safety sensor which gives a safe stop signal when the door is opened. The safety sensor fulfills PLe cat 4 and SIL 3. The safety sensor is available in two versions (standard and individual coded).

Standard coding: All sensors have the same code.

Inviduell coding: Each sensor has a unique code together with the actuator. This means that the sensor cannot be activated with another actuator. You can however always teach the sensor to a new actuator. But then it only works together with the new one.

Holdx is used to:

  • prevent stops in the middle of a process
  • keep unauthorized people outside the production area
  • give safe stops to machines when opening of door is permitted = magnet deenergized
  • be sure that the door can be opened in case of energy loss = magnet deenergized

Holdx and Safety Simplifer:

The Safety Simplifier has M12-contacts for one or two Holdx and Push Buttons for reset, lock, and unlock the door. Safety Simplifier asks the machinery system whether the door is allowed to be opened or not. If open is ok the Simplifier deenergized the door when the process inside has been halted and when door is opened it gives a safe stop to the machinery. On the Safety Simplifier also Push Buttons for start, stop and E-stop can be included.
